Intraflex XT – Heavy duty entrance matting from INTRAsystems
High performance Intraflex XT entrance matting has been installed by SDS Matting Ltd at this landmark office building in New Malden.
Morrow + Lorraine Architects specified that the matting be fitted from the main entrance right up to the reception desk. Because of this, dirt and moisture is removed from peoples shoes before they move onto the terrazzo floor finish. As a result, slip hazards are reduced and the floor finishes are protected from damage.
The functionality of the large mat is enhanced by the dramatic design statement achieved by the chevron pattern. Our fitters have taken this challenging installation in their stride, using their skills and experience to achieve a perfect installation. Cutting the angles correctly was essential to achieve good line-up, and care was required to shape accurately around the revolving door.
