To mark it’s 50th anniversary, the Royal Lancaster London hotel completed a major refurbishment, during which SDS Matting are proud to have installed stunning new entrance mats creating an impressive entrance.
Designed by renowned architect Richard Seifert, the hotel, overlooking London’s Hyde Park, originally opened in 1967. Studio Proof design studio have now created a five star hotel, by crafting a high quality, sophisticated interior that carefully preserves the mid-century origins.
Of particular interest is the Intraflex XT recessed entrance matting to the main entrance, stylishly finished in Bronze anodised Aluminium with super absorbent textile inserts. A special feature of this product is the ability to curve the rails to form a radial entrance mat, ideal for use within revolving doors.
