Intraflex XT – Heavy duty entrance matting from INTRAsystems
SDS Matting Ltd have been heavily involved in the prestigious Battersea Power Station redevelopment. This includes the installation of Intraform XT entrance matting in the commercial office building at 50 Electric Boulevard.
Designed by Foster & Partners Architects, this stunning reception space is enhanced by setting diminishing bands of matting profiles within the terrazzo floor. The sides of the main entrance mat on the lower level are curved, subtly blending into the adjacent floor finishes and creating a directional flow into the area.
The Black anodised Aluminium profiles hold a combination of Black textile and ribbed rubber inserts to give the ultimate dirt and moisture removal performance. The additional resilience of the rubber inserts helps to prevent compression of the textile inserts, effectively maintaining their appearance and dirt containing properties.
